This week’s Dance First Member Insight is from Nancy Trunzo and Witch Way Wellness!

Magical living isn’t about getting the “Quick Fix” from a candle, spell, or potion.

Magical living is about developing a resilient, thriving relationship with yourself by tending to the wellness of mind, body, and spirit.

Hi there, I’m Nancy (She/They): a Rebel, a Witch, and a Truth-seeker. I work with humans who want to discover new ways of moving their bodies, explore their creative magic, build new habits for thriving and get support centered on what they need.

I do this using a wide range of tools for building a resilient body, mind & spirit. Sometimes that looks like Ritual/Divination, and other times, it’s Interval Training & Pilates. It’s all about discovering your authentic self in a free space from talking about diets and weight loss.

This is important to me because I believe that the current way of viewing and performing “healthy” is based on racist ideas and policies.

It’s time for that to change. I am committed to that change.

Being resilient and thriving takes every single resource available and combines them in a way that becomes an established practice.

So, if you’ve been feeling like some piece is missing in your current wellness routine, it may be time to call in your intuitive practices. Two of the most important ways I enact these changes are inclusive personal training and individualized health coaching.

Inclusive Personal Training

I believe that your health journey is your own; you are worthy of loving and accepting your body. You deserve to enjoy moving your body in ways that are comfortable, safe, and without shame. You have the right to fitness training without pressure to lose weight, diet, or achieve a particular body shape.

In an industry focused on outward looks, I go against the grain to provide fitness training for people who are tired of feeling bad about themselves. Instead, I focus on how you feel and the quality of your life; I help you ease pain (hopefully), build consistent habits, and support you as you develop confidence in your abilities.

When you work with me, there are no body measurements, no scales, no judgments about food, no food diaries, and no before and after photos (unless you want that).

You choose to work with me because you are committed to developing a healthy relationship with your body, with food, and/or with fitness. We approach your goals from a place of kindness and curiosity. I will recommend modifications for injuries, disability, illness, or anything else life throws your way.

Health Coaching

As your coach, I provide support for you to develop habits that fit your life, health, fitness, and goals. You decide what type of program you want, and I offer resources to support your choices.

I utilize a compassionate process that encourages you to direct and develop a plan to meet and sustain your health and wellness goals. I believe that change begins once you understand the relationship you have with your body and how this relationship affects your life.

Start with a 30-minute consultation to discuss your goals. The focus is entirely up to you; I have experience with life organization, Attention Deficit Disorder, fitness, health, nutrition, and dance/performance coaching.

If this resonates, let me know. I would love to share about upcoming programs with you. You can also check out my website for a bunch of free resources and

Blessed be.
