Memorial Day Weekend Dancing and Live Music with Vinyl & Andre’s All-Stars, Sunday May 26th,
noon to 5pm!
Santos Meadow between Muir Beach and Muir Woods in Marin is where the action is!

It’s time to get your springtime-daylong-moving-and-grooving-dance-party on! The Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department’s 50th Annual Muir Beach Barbecue features delicious food, fantastic live music, tasty craft beers, premium wine, and a whole lot of fun for the family.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary this year, the MBVFD is excited to welcome back beloved local funkster favorites Vinyl, who will get the spirited crowd on the dance floor with their diverse and high-energy set. Keeping the 50-year tradition going, local favorites Andre’s All-Stars (a collective of top-notch all-star musicians) will keep the groove going with their classic rock and R&B tunes.

Muir Beach firefighters and community members will tend to smoky grills. Barbecue chicken, crepes, vegetarian tamale lunches, handmade desserts, sodas, beer, and wine will be available, as will clothing and other items featuring the famous Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department’s iconic dog logo. The day’s activities end with a raffle of dozens of incredible prizes, including fantastic accommodations and gift certificates from popular Bay Area and beyond restaurants and attractions.

The Firemen’s Barbecue is a festive gathering and a favorite Memorial Weekend tradition in Marin and an essential fundraiser for the Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department. This year, the MBVFD will break ground on a brand-new firehouse near the Muir Beach Overlook, and proceeds from this year’s Barbecue will help fund the new building.
