Online Workshop: Unhooking from Addictive Habits with Adriana Marchione

Loading Events

Thursday, October 3rd | 10am-1pm Pacific Time | $80

Join Expressive Arts Therapist, Tamalpa Supervisor and Creative Mentor Adriana Marchione for a special opportunity to explore ‘recovery’ from addiction in this Master Class. Using a life/art approach, we will draw and dance to embody avenues for change in ourselves, our loved ones, and the people we work with. Conversely, we will explore movements, postures, and beliefs that inhibit healing in relation to addictive behaviors.

This class will support you to:

– Reframe struggles and difficulties of recovery into artistic resources

– Envision and embrace healthy life choices through the creative process

To get the most out of this online workshop, please prepare a comfortable space to move in with access to your online device. Also, have art supplies ready at hand for the drawing activity and paper and pen for journaling and creative writing exercises.

Please note: Tamalpa does not record nor permit the recording of any classes or workshops due to the sensitive and sometimes vulnerable nature of the work, and to protect student privacy.
