Heads up European dancers, Lorca Simons is collaborating with Tom Schulz in Hamburg to bring you one of her renowned Live Wire Labs international 5Rhythms workshops!
In response to Gabrielle Roth’s investigation into what it means to be an authentic human being Lorca created Live Wire 5Rhythms Theatre which is dedicated to the creation of physical theater that is both interactive and transformative. Live Wire labs: Breath in Motion, Roots, Electric Landscapes, Silhouette, Wing Span, Soul Threading, Gather, On The Verge and Soul Revival are rooted in a visionary and rigorous technique for people to become true “athletes of the heart” exploring and investigating the depths of the human spirit.
Tom says “Before I first met Gabrielle Roth on an October evening in London in 1994, I had no idea that this encounter would change my life. But I knew immediately after that evening. Without any significant introduction to the 5Rhythms, I danced my first waves with perhaps 200 people, all strangers to me. Ten years of dancing later, I wanted to become a 5Rhythms teacher.”
