Located near the town of North Fork just 40 minutes from Yosemite National Park, Cedar Springs Retreat Center is destined to be the premiere facility for a wide variety of retreats, including dance, music, yoga, meditation, and permaculture, as well as weddings, family reunions, and corporate events.
Purchased cooperatively by a group of dancers in October of 2024, Cedar Springs features large spaces with sprung wood floors especially ideal for dance and movement retreats, from contact improvisation and Soul Motion to vibrant, multicultural dance forms, such as African and Brazilian dance.
The largest space will be a 2,500-square-foot main hall and will feature a high-end sound system and sprung wood floors, ideal for workshops, ecstatic dance, weddings, and performances. Participate in group activities or step outside onto the expansive deck and take in the view. Completion is expected by 2027.
Complete with a commercial kitchen, multiple cabins and shower houses, a chef who can provide a primarily organic menu that can accommodate a wide range of special diets (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, omnivore, etc.), and more amenities than can be listed here, Cedar Springs is ready to host your gathering, whether it’s a handful of folks or a crowd of 300.
If you don’t have experience organizing a retreat, Cedar Springs has people with skills and experience who can assist you. If you’d like to have a retreat happen but don’t have the time to take it on, the Cedar Springs team can do all the heavy lifting, and you can be in more of an advisory role.
