Postures in Life
A 4-Week Somatic Movement Series Rooted in 5Rhythms®
How do you meet life?
We collapse. We contract. We extend. We hyperextend.
These are not good or bad postures. Each can carry many different qualities and change with the moment, the relationship, what is being asked of us, and what we are feeling.
We move through these shapes all day long—folding, bracing, reaching, opening. When we begin to notice our familiar postures, we may also notice how we are meeting what is happening around us and where there is more room to move.
Over four Thursday evenings, we’ll explore these postures through movement and the 5Rhythms® Wave. Rather than trying to “fix” the body, we’ll get curious about the shapes it takes and what we find when we move through them.
