 Cacao Ceremony & Ecstatic Dance for the Winter Solstice 

Experience the magic of the longest night of the year, let your heart warm up, and dance the return of the light.

On the longest night of the year, we come together to call in the light. We honor the return of the Sun, warm our hearts with sacred cacao, and let our bodies dance the joy of new beginnings.
A ritual of awakening, connection, and inner renewal. 

 Schedule

17:00 – 17:30: Welcome
17:30 – 18:00: Circle Opening / Connection & Intention
18:00 – 19:30: Cacao Ceremony
19:30 – 21:30: Ecstatic Dance (~2 hours)
21:30 – 22:00: Circle Closing / Integration & Sharing

Note: Times are suggested and flexible to respect the flow of the ceremony and the dance.

 Circle Opening

We will open the space with a connection ritual that brings us into presence, creating intention and grounding before entering the energy of cacao and dance.

 Cacao Ceremony

We will enjoy sacred cacao, a plant that opens the heart, softens the mind, and invites us to move more authentically and freely.
A moment of warmth, gratitude, and collectivity around the light that is reborn — both the light of nature and the light that awakens within us.

We use authentic, ceremonial cacao — vegan, organic, and specially crafted for sacred rituals.
It comes from ancient Inca plantations in Peru and has been produced with the wisdom of traditional ceremonial cacao philosophy.
This is not “boiled chocolate,” but a sacred plant medicine honored and used for heart-opening and spiritual clarity.

 Ecstatic Dance

We let the flow of music guide us through a journey of liberation and joy. No steps, no right or wrong, just the body, the breath, and the rhythm. A celebration of life, light, and our vital energy.

 Circle Closing

We will close with a circle of integration and sharing, to seal what has been born within us and honor the change of season.

What to Bring

*A cup for the cacao
*A yoga mat, blanket, or something warm for the closing of the circle
*Comfortable clothes for dancing
*Flowers or any object you feel to bring for the Winter Solstice altar (Yule Altar) — a small symbol of light, new beginnings, or personal intention

Dress Code

Shades of yellow, white, and earthy colors — like carrying little rays of sun in the dark.
