the things we carry
sometimes we do not get a choice in what we carry; we carry wounds and worry, mishaps and mistakes, secrets and scars, grist and grief, burdens and baggage. our shoulders become heavy with should’s; i should be more… i should be a better… let’s come together to re-move and shake off the shackles of should. there are also things we carry that have no weight at all; truth, kindness, hope, grace, wonder, love. the gifts we carry that are the fuel for the fires and passions that feed our souls. the gifts we carry that we share with others. The gifts we carry that make a kinder and more beautiful world. we will dance in community with all, exploring and witnessing the diverse responsibilities of being human. let’s learn to make space in our bodies to release the wounds that are no longer in service and receive the wonders that enhance our growth and well-being. to show and share wounds and our gifts is a blessing to ourselves and to the world.
If you are new to michael’s teaching, he invites you to take an online class for free. Contact Miriam Rushfinn for more information.

From Jodie Plaisance:
“Michael Molin Skelton is pure magic. He is someone I’ve been dying to dance with again. He was here many years ago and I cannot believe we get to dance with him again.
He teaches from many embodied modalities. Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms teacher. He’s part of the Open Floor faculty and also a Soul Motion lead teacher. He studied with Amara (who came last year) in the Azul practice! He lives and breathes dance. I definitely encourage any curious dancers (or non-dancers) to join in.
He is a world-renowned leader in conscious movement practices. He leads us with kindness, grace…he’s just so inspiring! I seem to remember that he spins around like a whirling dervish; it’s like his feet barely touch the floor. He’s an Earth angel, I swear it.”
