The Art of Showing Up
The seminar is designed around exploring the “artist within you” and treating your life as a work of art. Participants use improvisation and spontaneous individual and group creation to explore presence, body wisdom, play, movement and fully “showing up” to life’s invitations.
The program places particular emphasis on sound and music, including voice, movement, circle singing, collective improvisation and exploration of the relationship between individuality and togetherness. Participants are invited to explore their “inner orchestra”—the different inner voices, rhythms, melodies and expressions they carry.

About the facilitators
Katie Hendricks is one of the seminar facilitators.
Noga Rappaport Varadi is described by the Institute as a singer, musician, songwriter, improviser, teacher, Hendricks Certified Coach and Senior Trainer. She created the sonoga© pedagogy and founded Catalyse, an ecosystem focused on voice and breath that includes a school and support program for amateurs and professionals.

Along with his wife, Dr. Kathlyn Hendricks, Gay is the author of numerous bestsellers, including Conscious Loving, At The Speed Of Life, The Big Leap, Five Wishes, and the recently released Your Big Leap Year.
Dr. Hendricks received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Stanford in 1974. After a 21-year career as a professor at the University of Colorado, he founded The Hendricks Institute. He later co-founded its charitable organization, Foundation for Conscious Living. He is also the founder of a virtual learning center for transformation and a publishing company, and the co-founder of a conscious entertainment company.
Throughout his career, Dr. Hendricks has coached more than 800 executives, including the top management at such firms as Dell Computer, Hewlett Packard, Motorola, and KLM. His book, The Corporate Mystic, is used widely to train management in combining business skills with personal development tools.
Gay is also a mystery novelist, with a series of five books featuring the Tibetan-Buddhist private detective, Tenzing Norbu. In recent years, he has co-created a popular podcast called The Big Leap with Gay Hendricks and Mike Koenigs. He has appeared on more than 500 radio and television shows, including OPRAH, CNN, CNBC, 48 HOURS, and others.
