Live Wire is an embodied ritual theatre investigation, grounded in the movement maps of 5Rhythms®, devoted to the shapeshifting nature of physical art, and guided by the vision of Lorca Simons, Gabrielle Roth and Martha Peabody. Designed to inspire, refresh, re-set and connect. Our time will include movement, creative excavations, collective truth-telling and beauty-making.

Lorca is the Artistic Director of the LIVE WIRE 5Rhythms Ritual Theatre Wing. Dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative, creating revolutionary theatre that dissolves the fourth wall…….and all the walls that separate us. She is an internationally certified 5Rhythms facilitator devoted to the shape shifting beauty of ensemble through the exploration of both the performing and visual arts, awakening each individual’s unique creative potential through the vast landscape of the heart.
Lorca actively creates theatre in communities globally through a series of LIVE WIRE Ritual Theatre Labs: Soul Revival, Soul Notes, Breath in Motion, Gather, Roots, On The Verge, Electric Landscapes, Wing Span, Silhouette and Soul Threading. Lorca is committed to scattering the seeds of this transformational process.

DJ MUSE: EMMA LEECH
Emma has been dancing 5Rhythms® for over three decades, and teaching for 24 years, having trained with Gabrielle Roth in 2001. Her journey began as a path of self-healing, and has grown into a life devoted to exploring the human spirit through movement. Her work spans communities around the world: from prisons, addiction recovery centers, and youth-at-risk programs in London, to children in the slums of Kolkata, India. Each experience has deepened her understanding of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of dance.
Emma is among a select few certified to teach Gabrielle Roth’s advanced God, Sex & the Body map, exploring the six masculine and feminine archetypes. She integrates this study with performance, including burlesque and clowning, bringing humour, playfulness, and raw presence into her classes.
Rooted in compassion and creativity, Emma’s teaching transforms movement into art, healing, and self-discovery – inviting everyone fully into their essence.

Lorca SimonsEvent MemberLorca is a certified 5Rhythms facilitator dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative.
She was born and raised in Texas where she grew up in her father’s experimental theatre company Hip Pocket Theatre. As an artistic associate she has been involved in producing original works for 47 years. A graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts theatre conservatory. Educated in both experimental and traditional theatre. She has blazed through productions in New York City from Off Broadway to fringe, as well as television and film.
Lorca followed her instincts to the unique directing vibration known as Gabrielle Roth and a 19 year creative collaboration bloomed. She studied and trained with Gabrielle from the mid-90’s and was a co-founder and a co-director of 5RT, the experimental theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world, a place she stepped into with her expansive Texan feet, collaborating on numerous original productions and international workshops. In response to Gabrielle Roth’s investigation into what it means to be an authentic human being Lorca created Live Wire 5Rhythms Theatre which is dedicated to the creation of physical theater that is both interactive and transformative. Live Wire labs: Breath in Motion, Roots, Electric Landscapes, Silhouette, Wing Span, Soul Threading, Live Wire and On The Verge are rooted in a visionary and rigorous technique for people to become true “athletes of the heart” exploring and investigating the depths of the human spirit.
She is committed to scattering the seeds of this transformative process.
