We’re raising funds for Hope for Justice, a global nonprofit working to stop human trafficking, rescue victims, and help survivors rebuild lives with dignity.

Whether you’ve danced with us for years or are joining for the first time, you are part of this lineage simply by showing up. Together, we honor the past, feel the present, and move into the future.

Expect an event with:
• Music that carries our history and lifts us forward
• Devotional, heart-centered movement
• Gentle ritual/ceremony
• Space for gratitude, remembrance, and renewal

Come as you are, move as you feel, and celebrate with us — still dancing. Still listening.

Please note : we are now in our NEW location 1100 north Tuttle Ave grand slam plaza suite 16-17 . 10am meditation or arrive, 10:30-12pm ecstatic dance. Pls note this is eastern time zone

We welcome families and kids as long as parents are aware and redirect kids so it’s not a distraction to others. Dances are barefoot celebrations with a live dj mixing music in the moment with dancers. You move as much or as little as feels right. Some come and just lay back enjoying the musical journey! Some dance throughout the cycles of music and into what feels good. It’s a sacred and safe space to be you, to get goofy, silly, express, do art, journal, reflect, process.. get creative. Every dance is a new experience and ultimately a gift in how it wired the body and mind and present moment.

This is on-site locally in Sarasota florida and broadcast out to global dancing friends. Some do both online while traveling and on-site when here. Others join online from afar. Both are welcome!

Our theme this month is “balance”

What is Ecstatic Dance? Ecstatic dance is a form of dance in which the dancers, sometimes without the need to follow specific steps, release themselves to the rhythm and move freely as the music takes them, leading to trance and a feeling of ecstasy.

What is the purpose? Ecstatic dance empowers people of all shapes, ages, sizes and backgrounds to freely express themselves

We open with meditation 6:30pm . Arrive, stretch, get still. Opening circle 7Pm

Who? We are a diverse and growing group of dancing enthusiasts from around the world that come together three times a week to move, play, dance, meditate, connect, heal, express and grow.

Music? The music is DJ-ed by Kai (Kelly Atkins) with a blend of world, electronic conscious and sacred music blended with dubstep, club, rap, techno/house, instrumental and chill. The music is chosen to open your dance, to experience lots of different vibrations (healing musical qualities and solfeggio rhythms/harmonics), emotions and musical genres and to inspire creativity. Its set up in a wave format. Kelly Atkins has been creating playlists and soundscapes for dance and conscious movement many years and has great joy making unique sound journeys for every dance. We welcome new folks to join anytime.
