Biodanza Maryland “The Tree of Desires”

Its roots plunge deep into the fertile ground of instinct, drawing nourishment from the ancient wisdom that lives within the body.

Its trunk rises strong from the power of action—our capacity to move, to choose, to step forward and bring what lives inside us into the world.

Its branches reach outward and upward into the vast universe of encounters, promises, imagination, possibilities, and dreams. They stretch toward the unknown, toward everything life invites us to become.

Its seasons shift and transform between presence and absence—between what is here now, offered by life, and what has momentarily disappeared so that something new may emerge.

Its abundant fruits carry the flavors of fulfillment and pleasure, the sweetness that comes when desire ripens and finds its expression in our lives.

This tree is the living alliance between the deep forces of our needs and instincts and the generous promises of life itself.

Such is The Tree of Desires workshop.
Intriguing… and perhaps a little exciting, no?

Yet for our desires to truly nourish our growth, we must learn how to listen to them with clarity and discernment. In this journey together we will explore how to:

• Distinguish between needing, desiring, and dreaming.
• Recognize the nature and movement of our desires.
• Understand the difference between expressing a desire and realizing it.
• Differentiate the fleeting satisfaction of a passing whim from the deep fulfillment of a true aspiration.
• Become aware of our contradictions and paradoxes, those inner tensions that shape our path.
• Learn to choose which desires arise from the deep instinctual core of our being.

The intention of this workshop is to awaken our potential for realization—to ignite courage, daring, and passion within us. It is an invitation to move forward with clear choices when they are possible, and also to trust the mystery of life when the path is still unfolding.

When we dance our desires, we release their vitality. We allow the poetry of living to move through our bodies. Little by little, we learn to cultivate, harvest, and cherish the fruits of our own lives.

Each participant will be invited to create their own Tree of Desires, identifying the central desires that nourish their life. From these, the Star of Desire will emerge, guiding the dances that help us embody and incorporate the specific energy of what calls us most deeply.

As Rolando Toro beautifully said:
“When I dance it, I become my desire.”

Come join us in April 2026 for a long weekend of dreaming, dancing, and discovering the living force of desire within you.
