Online Masterclass: Elemental Earth Body Practice with Dohee Lee
Cost (includes EventBrite fees): $80

The natural elements – Tree, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water – will be the guiding themes of this workshop.
How can elements teach us how to move, how to sound, how to listen to and how to be healed?
Starting with movement and sound, we will expand our practices into ritual performance that bridge ancient wisdom into daily life with personal meaning.
We will integrate this elemental wisdom with many spheres of relationship— personal, social, environmental, historical, and ancestral.
Dohee’s work is deeply influenced by her cultural background in Korean Traditional Arts, Ritual practice, East Medicinal Elements, ancestral knowledge and the Tamalpa Life/Art Process.
This workshop will guide you to learn Dohee’s unique approach to working with the elemental body through movement and sound, ritual and performance.
Learnings:
- Elemental Body Movements: Tree, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water
- Singing Body Practice: Tuning our bodies through sound, movement and rhythm
- Exploring and expressing our bodies through creative art practice
- Using the Halprin scoring process (RSVP cycles) to create individual and collective performances
