Lorca Simons
About / Bio
Lorca Simons was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas where she has a lifetime association with her father ’s experimental theatre Hip Pocket performing in numerous plays throughout her life. Lorca performed with HPT in Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts theatre conservatory and the Duke University summer theatre program before moving to New York City.

Currently living in the UK, she is developing original works as well as sourcing mainstream projects. She has blazed through productions from Off Broadway to fringe, her talents can also be seen in television and film. Educated in both experimental and traditional theatre she followed her instincts to the unique directing vibration known as Gabrielle Roth and a 19 year creative collaboration bloomed. A certified 5Rhythms facilitator, Lorca is a founding member and has Co-Directed 5RT, the theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world. A place she has stepped into with her expansive Texan feet first collaborating on numerous original productions, workshops, and ritual theatre explorations.

She is committed to scattering the seeds of this transformative process.
