Rhythms of the Afterlife – An Ecstatic Dance & Ritual Remembrance Gathering

On the occasion of the Day of the Dead, we draw inspiration from Mexican traditions and create a sacred space where memory meets life — where rhythm becomes prayer, and movement a bridge between worlds. 

 Opening Circle
Eftychia Anyfanti will guide us with her shamanic drum, opening the circle through rhythm and intention.
During the process, Marianna Tsagkaraki will lead us into meditative movement, inviting us to listen to the vital energy flowing through the body, connecting us to the Earth and awakening the memory of our roots. 

 Ecstatic Dance Journey
DJ Samanti will take us on a musical journey through the rhythms of earth and sky — a dance of liberation, connection, and joy.
We’ll let the body express itself freely, move authentically, and reconnect with the life force pulsing within.

 Closing Circle
Eftychia will guide us into Yoga Nidra, while Marianna will accompany with a gentle wind chimes sound bath, creating a space of soft transition and peace.

 Ritual Altar
Together, we’ll create an altar to honor our ancestors, beloved ones or animals who have passed, and reconnect with Mother Earth.
What to bring: a few flowers, a photo or symbolic object, and some seeds (e.g. wheat, rice, corn) to take part in the ritual.

 Dress Code
Comfortable clothes in shades of orange, purple, and earthy tones, merging the hues of day and night.

 What to bring:
A yoga mat for the Yoga Nidra session, warm clothing and socks for relaxation, and your own water bottle.

 Herbal tea and light snacks will be offered on site.
