iRest® Yoga Nidra is a research based meditation protocol that was developed by Richard Miller, PhD. It brings together the teachings of the non-dual tradition with the techniques of mindfulness and with current findings in neuroscience.

The 10 step protocol provides tools and techniques for daily living to help meet and greet stress, anxiety and depression as messengers. Research shows that iRest Meditation effectively reduces stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder and enhances joy, equanimity and wellbeing throughout your daily life.

One of the many wonderful benefits of this Immersion is participants will learn to use selected aspects of the iRest protocol in brief moments, as needed, throughout the day.

iRest® Yoga Nidra is both an excellent personal practice as well as an adjunctive practice for all healthcare professionals.

This Immersion qualifies as a “short retreat” requirement for those going through iRest®Teacher Certification.
