CAITLIN WOOD
OPEN FLOOR, EMBODIMENT & HOLISTIC INTEGRATION
I am an artist, creative therapist, conscious movement teacher, DJ & ceremony woman.
I made my first pilgrimage to Peru in 2011 and have been learning with the mountains and the medicines of this land ever since. The wisdom of this place and its teachers have been instrumental in my own path of healing, and formed a foundational lineage of ceremony and connection for the work that I do and who I am in the world. I pay my deepest respects to the indigenous peoples of the Shipibo & Q’ero that I have been honoured to learn from, and for all that has been shared with me.
Following a similar timeline has been my study with Indigenous North American wisdom and ceremonial traditions, and ways
of praying, through various teachers of mixed lineage. These interweaving paths have been a source of profound personal healing for myself, and allowed me to contribute to the tending of the sacred and a deepening of soul work in the communities I work with. With the support of Indigenous teachers from North and South America, I have learnt so much about the interconnectedness of the human and non-human worlds, about healthy community, boundaries, and self-care, about how to support healing for others in individual and group experiences, and what it is to live a life of devotion and service to something much greater than myself.
I feel that working somatically with the body is vital in order to ground the experiences of plant medicine ceremony. The movement practices of Dancing Freedom and Open Floor are well designed to support connection and learning and help to bring what we learn in these spaces into lived experience. I have been offering the medicine of dance through Dancing Freedom for 11 years and Open Floor for 5 years, with movement classes, DJ sets, workshops, retreats and one-on-one sessions in Australia, online and around the world.
A foundational training in Transpersonal Art Therapy back in 2012, with much professional development since has supported me in creating trauma-informed spaces that bridge the needs of those from modern Western cultures with the ancient wisdom of Indigenous traditions of healing.
My work over the last 13 years has led me to understand and value the importance of integration and preparation for working with plant medicines, including how to build frameworks of personal and community support in order to apply what is learnt in these spaces into daily life and lived experience. I am a strong advocate for community supported engagement with plant medicine traditions, as well as ecological and social reciprocity, giving-back to the communities and cultures that protect these plants and the ecosystems where they live.
I offer my respect and thanks to all of the Indigenous teachers and lineages that I have been honoured to learn from, and to the elders and traditional custodians of the lands on which I live and work.

PHOENIX ONESONG MAROLDA
DANCING FREEDOM, EMBODIMENT & HOLISTIC INTEGRATION
Embodying The Altar – Peru Retreat 2024
With over 25 years of experience working with master plant teachers, Phoenix has a deep knowledge and embodied wisdom of several traditional lineages from the Americas. She is an apprentice of these ancient ways of working in ceremony and being in dialogue with the more than human world. Her experiences through an array of healing modalities and the cultures that hold them, has taught her that deep personal and ancestral healing happens through the body.
She advocates for embodied doses, supported by ritual, ceremony, an understanding of prayer, and somatic practices; in the plant medicine realm, as the foundation for long-lasting, balanced, and healthy relationships to self, others and life.
Phoenix emphasizes the importance of pre- and post-ceremony preparation and integration, as well as creating safely held spaces for deep personal and transpersonal transformation to occur.
Phoenix firmly believes that each of us has a unique role to play in our evolving culture and in shifting the current paradigm. She has dedicated her life to creating spaces and opportunities for people to unite, allowing them to bring their unique threads of our shared tapestry together. Combining her passion for dance, speaking her truth, ritual and ceremony, organizing intentional events, and communing with nature, Phoenix contributes to weaving our collective dreaming into the interconnected web of life. Her purpose is to inspire and empower others to share their gifts and reconnect with the unique role they are here to play. As both a lifelong student and teacher, Phoenix shares her vision for global synergy and collaboration.
Phoenix holds a Master’s degree in Education and Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University. She is the co-director of Dancing Freedom and both an empowerment and psychedelic integration coach. MIGUEL MENDIBRE
HUACHUMA CEREMONIES & TEACHINGS ON THE ALTAR
Miguel’s journey with huachuma began at the age of 17. That first experience led him to a state he had been searching for, one that felt more familiar and meaningful than anything he had known before; a perspective and way of relating to life from an open heart.
Since that first time, the call of his inner voice grew stronger, affirming that this was the path he was to walk on.
Following this call, he found his maestro and began training to hold space for others in ceremony. From then onwards, Miguel has developed and sustained a profound connection with huachuma, nurturing a relationship with himself and realizing that the plant reveals only what is already within.
This path has opened a life of infinite possibilities, profound teachings, and inner growth.
It’s been almost 20 years, now, that he has been walking this path and he feels there is no turning back. He feels that every ceremony is the best one and that there is nothing more than the here and now. Miguel is deeply grateful and in humble service to this master plant. He is also grateful for the opportunity to serve huachuma to others- as he has realized that our purpose as humans is to be in service to others.
Currently, Miguel holds ceremonies approximately once a week in the Sacred Valley and in Cusco
